Price comparison site leads the way for organic searches taking 53% of car hire related online searches, announced Greenlight in its new report*.

SURREY, ENGLAND, January 23, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Carrentals.co.uk, the leading car hire comparator, has topped the search engine rankings for social media marketing and SEO according to the latest research of the car hire sector from Greenlight, the leading search engine marketing agency.

Grabbing 53% of the 763,000 car rental related searches, the car rental website managed top spot for organic search engine rankings in October 2010. It also maned to record the highest Social Media Popularity Index (SMPI) too.

Taking first place in the search engine rankings domestically and worldwide searches, with 54% and 53% respectively, Carrentals.co.uk is shown to be the most visible site by the Greenlight report, and since July 2010, the company's visibility has risen by 6%.
